I have a compaq laptop with only Xubuntu on it. I want to have 2 operating systems to choose from the best user friendly xubuntu/ maybe http://www.python.org/ or whatever if I pay for any software it wont be on this OS. However I also want a Text based interface which is very function specific based on Synchronet http://www.synchro.net/ and with that I will and am and are going to purchase software for for example GPS function, man portable radar, communications equipment targeting hacking softwares and a few others. Now before I do anything I first have to get this thing online. I recently purchased a Cisco Wireless N Wifi Card the DWA 652 ( http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=532 ). I need to get this online and I need a step by step tutorial thats easy to follow to get this online to start downloading software. I may need to install more ram its a older Compaq presario with a Athlon Processor. Please help me get my laptop online so I dont have to go to the library anymore and I can turn my music up! Then I want to put on the operating system all the software you need to watch movies and music vids graphic arts a many gigs of music video movies free stuff then take the whole shabang and put it on a million copyable cdroms to take over the world of computing with coolness. Esther Hershko, of Andover Lane in Woodmere, NY had broken into the home of her estranged husband and tried to light it on fire while he was sleeping. Once inside, she poured lighter fluid on the floor of a bedroom in his Hewlett Bay Park home. She was forced to leave before she was able to light the fire because her estranged husband woke up. He did not hear her in the house, but heard the sounds of his dog having a seizure. Hershko threw the empty can into bushes in front of the house but was spotted by a neighbor who called the police. She was arrested a short time after. Hersko’s estranged husband, and the 4 others inside the home, were not injured. Hershko has been charged with first degree burglary, fourth degree possession of a dangerous weapon , five counts of second degree attempted murder, and second degree attempted arson. She will be arraigned in the First District Court in Hempstead, NY.
